本片取材自文學著作《坎特伯雷故事集》，影片則在原著眾多獨立的小故事中選取八段故事，以短小精悍、赤裸露骨的敘事風格，反映了中世紀英國的社會百態。這部強調性愛作為反抗宗教束縛、爭取人性自由武器的電影，逼真的刻畫了一個個迥然不同的眾生相，窮奢極欲的城主，專營告密敲詐的小人，故弄玄虛勾引鄰家少婦的學生，放蕩荒淫的女財主，以及生活在社會底層的小無賴等等。由意大利著名導演皮埃爾 帕索里尼執導的影片《坎特伯雷故事集》，改編自十四世紀英國詩人杰弗雷 middot;喬叟的同名詩體小說集。導演帕索里尼親自扮演喬叟。本片是帕索里尼;生命三部曲 的中第二部，另外兩部分別為《十日談》和《一千零一夜》。影片榮獲1972年第22屆柏林國際電影節金熊獎。

三人世界
林子祥,鄭裕玲,關之琳,周慧敏,劉嘉玲,羅美薇,盧冠廷,金燕玲,周文健劉雅歷（林子祥 飾）是一名廣告公司高層，但感情生活并不如意——女友碧姬（關之琳 飾）與他分手了。本來就沉默寡言的雅歷更加孤寂傷痛了，生活依舊刻板平凡。 后來他在一個合唱團里認識了一位極有天分的女孩巫慧敏（周慧敏 飾），本來打算對她多加照顧培訓，卻遭到慧敏母親朱麗娥（鄭裕玲 飾）的不滿，以為雅歷對自己年輕的女兒動了歪念，兩人也因此成為了斗氣冤家?！ 〗浂啻蔚慕煌螅禧惗鸩虐l現自己誤會了雅歷，便對他完全改觀了，有困難的時候麗娥也主動找雅歷幫忙。麗娥本來就是個離婚婦人，遇到了同樣感情空虛的雅歷，兩人之間很快便滋長了愛情。這時，雅歷的前女友碧姬卻回來要求復合……
攻克柏林

Roden,鮑里斯·捷寧,維克托·斯坦尼岑,Oleg Frelikh,鮑里斯·里瓦諾夫,謝爾蓋·比林尼科夫,Vladimir Lyubimov,Konstantin BartasheviMikheil Chiaureli是斯大林的御用導演，《攻克柏林》長達近五個小時，分上下兩部，處處著重突出最高統帥的高瞻遠矚。影片結尾，斯大林乘飛機抵達陷落的柏林，接受蘇軍的歡呼。其實這是“藝術虛構”。和《斯大林格勒戰役》一樣，這場實際主要由朱可夫將軍指揮的戰役，影片中絲毫沒有他的影子。當時朱可夫已經因為功高震主，被羅織罪名，發配到烏拉爾軍區去了，這是1946年的事。這部1949年的電影很自然地就將朱可夫的功勞“藝術虛構”到偉大領袖的頭上了?！ ∫驗檫@部影片，導演連續獲得了兩次國家獎金，包括1950年的斯大林獎金。中國觀眾熟悉的《難忘的1919》（1952）也是出自這位導演的手筆。值得一提的是，這兩部影片都是由蘇聯作曲家肖斯塔科維奇譜曲的。
等待方舟

The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.
