李偉楠初出茅廬就在賽事中奪得第一，得到了「亞洲車神」的稱號。阿楠有個同父異母的弟弟阿火，阿火也鍾情於賽車，但他玩的是地下賽車，阿楠阿火兩兄弟可謂是稱霸車壇，因此而被以汽車科技而馳名亞洲的浩善國際看中，集團主席馬太極力邀請二人加入，不單是為了提高公司聲譽和銷售業績，更希望兩人能幫助自己的兒子Calvin 成為新一代「亞洲車神」，順利接任集團業務。 阿楠與Maggie結婚後，開始意識到了作為丈夫的責任，再加之兒子文仔有先天性心臟病，需要大筆醫療費用，阿楠迫於生活的壓力，便接受了馬太邀請，做Calvin的破風手，全力幫助他連奪兩屆澳門房車賽冠軍。 眼看Calvin三連霸在望，他的成就卻惹起最大競爭對手日本長板車隊的注意，他們派出有「死神」之稱的Kenji在澳門賽車場上挑戰Calvin，Kenji幾年前曾經輸給阿楠，那次敗仗成了他職業生涯中的污點，在賽道上Kenji並沒有把Calvin放在眼裡，他要挑戰的是Calvin 的破風手阿楠， Kenji狠辣的跑法終於導致Calvin意外重傷昏迷，阿楠十分自責，馬太更萬分沮喪，斥責阿楠。 而Kenji在Calvin發生意外之後，不但拒絕道歉還不斷挑釁阿楠，弟弟阿火行事衝動，要與Kenji在香港街頭一決高下，最終兩人的激烈較量導致阿火翻車，而阿火也因為這次撞車失去了一條腿……

Either still living with their parents or hardly getting by without help from their families, they are all beset by similar woes: money crunch, joblessness, social isolation. In view of the world’s horrors that Zeynep enumerates in her diary entries, these are minor problems, ‘slight disasters’, but they are all-consuming, at least to the extent of making them cry in the still of the night. However, Umut Subasi’s first feature, Almost Entirely a Slight Disaster, is not a melodrama. With an appealingly light touch, it diagnoses the malaise of a generation that has run up against a dead end, one whose future prospects are indistinguishable from a game of chance. This is a world where astrology, the lottery and online personality tests compete with visa and job applications as life-shaping elements. Fittingly, the film is structured around chance and coincidence, with its handful of characters encountering each other in every permutation, as though there were no world outside this small social bubble.
