等待方舟

　　Set in an underground dungeon inhabited by bundled, ragged human beings, after the nuclear holocaust. The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart.　　Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory?　　n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in.　　What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts.　　On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired.　　One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places.　　Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

地獄無淚

妖星哥拉斯

　　不明妖星哥拉斯在茫茫宇宙中不斷前進，沿途吸附大量的星際飛行物，不斷的變龐大，日本的觀測宇宙船隼號，為了探明其質量大小，不幸被一起吸附，但是其在最后關頭向地球發出了其質量數據，使地球上的人對其有了個初步認識，后經科學家計算測定，其質量為地球的６１００倍，而且將在４５天后與地球相撞。　　為阻止地球與哥拉斯的相撞，科學家想出了一個大膽的辦法，就是運用水素離子裝置在南極造一個噴射基地（類似與火箭發射器），讓地球動起來，在哥拉斯到來之前，使地球移動到其他軌道．等哥拉斯安全通過后，然后在北極在建個基地，使地球在回到原來的預定軌道。　　計劃實施的非常順利，全世界各國在國聯的帶領下在南極建立了基地，但是由于在南極建造基地，在火焰發生器的作用下讓長眠在南極的海象怪獸蘇醒了，并破壞了一部份基地，后來，在飛機導彈的攻擊下，怪獸死了，但由于怪獸的破壞，火箭發生器推遲了時間，到底地球能不能脫離哥拉斯的吞噬呢？

殺戮元兇：狙擊手

　　Katrine Ries Jensen警探和法律神經病專家托馬斯·謝弗正在哥本哈根警局組建了一個連環殺人案調查小組。隨著調查的深入，慢慢隱現了一個與謝弗過去處理過的一個案子有關。作為初出茅廬的神經病專家，他曾經送回一個病人去往精神病醫院，因為他能把一個交通事變的細節繪聲繪色的描繪出來。現在這些血腥的描繪一個個閃現出來，翻開了一個個真正在的命案……

沖破鐵幕

　　邁克爾（保羅·紐曼 Paul Newman 飾）是一位非常優秀的火箭科學家，同時也是國家重點保護的珍貴人才。莎拉（朱麗·安德魯斯 Julie Andrews 飾）是邁克爾的助手，同時也是他的未婚妻，某日，兩人共同前往哥本哈根，去參加在那里舉辦的研討會。　　在哥本哈根的日子里，邁克爾的行為舉止表現的非常的怪異，就連向來能夠理解他的莎拉都感到百思不得其解，他的所有詭異行為只有一個解釋，那就是他要背叛自己的國家，逃往東德。為了弄清楚事情的真相，莎拉開始了對于邁克爾的調查，哪知道最終，莎拉選擇了和邁克爾一起叛逃。這對夫妻的行為背后，有著不為人知的目的。

少林傳人

　　野心勃勃的九王爺（白彪 飾）企圖謀權篡位，落敗的皇帝（艾飛 飾）命令兩名侍衛將兩個皇子分別抱走，以延續皇家血脈。大太子（狄龍 飾）被送到了少林寺，三個瘋瘋癲癲的和尚收留了他，替他取名道行，傳授其武功。二太子（爾冬升 飾）則被丞相（谷峰 飾）收為義子，改名為王子泰。　　轉眼多年過去，某日，王子泰來到了少林寺，偶然遇見了道行，盡管他們彼此都不知道對方的身份和身世，但兩兄弟還是一見如故，很快就結下了堅實的友誼。九王爺買通了寺廟內的僧人，想要將道行和王子泰斬草除根，無奈之中，兩人逃出了少林，踏上了充滿危險的未知之旅。
