The story follows the wanderings of a hero through the situations of survival. People wait for the Ark to arrive and rescue them while their habitat falls apart. Delving deep into the dusty and long abandonded vaults of b-cinema in search of lost gems always leaves me with a bittersweet taste. On one hand the discovery of unexpected gems where no one would think them possible is a rewarding experience. On the other hand though it makes one wonder how many of these remarkable low-budget oddities, personal love affairs of directors never quite famous and now all but forgotten, have almost forever slipped from memory? n any case what we have here is a little post-apocalyptic gem from Poland that is really better than it has any right to. The dystopian near future of O-BI, O-BA finds a group of survivors of the nuclear war that ravaged the Earth inhabiting an underworld concrete bunker and biding their time as they wait for the mysterious Ark, an air ship of some kind that will come and save them. The Ark proves to be an elaborate hoax, carefully designed to give hope to the malnourished and desperate denizens of the bunker, while in the meantime the dome that separates their miserable existence from the nuclear winter outside is slowly caving in. What first striked me about the movie is the design of the bunker and the depiction of the survivors. The survivors are gaunt, filthy and terrible-looking penitents, dressed in rags and aimlessly wandering the neon-lit halls of the bunker like automatons. The bunker is a rundown, seedy place, with bright neon lights peering from all sides like the eyes of malignant beasts. On one hand it is a slightly 80's depiction of the dystopian future but the movie never stoops down to MAD MAX cheese. Instead it combines biting political satire with the bleak outlook of a world with no future, black comedy with barbs on apathy, religion and power. The survivors, for example, are fed some kind of flour dropping from a tube that hovers in the air - later on we discover the food supervisor uses books and the Bible itself as filler for this meagre meal. There are many such short symbolic touches, perhaps not life-changing or faith-restoring, yet playful, clever and inspired. One thing is for sure; O-BI, O-BA is not your run-of-the-mill sci-fi schlock. It overcomes its modest budget with creativity and has genuine artistic aspirations both from a writing and directing perspective. My opinion is that it should have been filmed in black and white instead of colour though. The director uses atmospheric light and shadow to great effect and it would have registered even better in stark black and white. The blue-green neon on the other hand outstays its welcome after a while. Just a minor gripe in an otherwise solid b-movie with its heart set in all the right places. Imagine a less bleak THE ROAD (Cormac McCarthy) being injected with the satire and humour of DR.STRANGELOVE and you're getting there. See it if you can find it.

尼古拉斯·霍普,Megan Drury,Will McDonald,Texas Watterston,Jack Ruwald艾美從又濕又冷的浴缸裡驚醒，發現自己似乎被軟禁在一所廢棄的學校。身邊一片漆黑又恐怖，斑駁的牆壁上有一些詭譎的塗鴉。在她遭軟禁期間，只能與腦中想法相依。身為一名醫生，同時也是妻子和悲傷的母親，始終無法認清兒子因為意外已長眠的事實，並認為兒子也被困在學校裡面。在這充滿敵意、超自然煉獄般的學校，深陷於黑暗與絕望的艾美極力想要找到她的兒子。她不斷打破「學校」的規則，隨著艾美遇到住在「學校」的恐怖邪惡生物，令人畏懼的超自然力量與內心恐懼接踵而至，到底她對抗的是這些恐怖的生物，還是自己的心魔呢?

石天,譚詠麟,柏安妮,林子祥在現代都市里，居然出了奇怪的大事。某日從天降下一位怪人，而且自稱財仙（譚詠麟），為了逃避群眾追趕，而湊巧遇上了茶室老板及其女兒愛玲、兒子彬彬。隨即他變被打扮成時代青年財仙，替老板解決了不少難題，更積極傳播真理，讓身邊的人人都能幸福快樂。后來，財仙為救汽車失事的愛玲，使用法力搶救但似的自己變成凡人。而后更遭太空署人員圍捕，幸得眾人齊心救援，方才遇難呈祥、逢兇化吉。 香港天皇級的歌手譚詠麟早期80年代的電影作品。譚詠麟雖然憑《假如我是真的》奪得第十八屆金馬獎男主角，但是要數出他的代表作也不容易。因為他所主演的片子大多走搞笑路線，觀眾大多笑完即止。不過其中《小生怕怕》、《少爺威威》、《恭喜發財》也算得上當時優秀的喜劇作品，而且對于在樂壇上作全力沖刺的譚詠麟來說，能出演40多部電影，也可算是一個神話。延續了此前《小生怕怕》、《少爺威威》等片的商業熱力，本片推出后也大獲成功，贏得了接近兩千萬的高票房，站到了年度賣座電影的前五名之內。故事的結局和所有的賀歲片如出一轍，同樣是皆大歡喜。樂呵呵的看完電影，但演員們的精彩表現還是讓人津津樂道，至今翻看起來仍舊能回味無窮。

青山泰菜,竹田光稀,円谷優希,十代修介,富樫未來,佐藤仁,森岡里世,大地洋輔,八木將康,川瀨陽太地方から上京してマンガ家を目指すヒロインが戀に仕事に奮闘する本作。原作は実體験をもとにした香穂のマンガ「俺とSEXすれば売れる」だ。エロい中年マンガ家や若いアシスタントに次々と手を出す中堅マンガ家など、危うい先輩たちに囲まれながら向上心を保ち邁進していく主人公?香穂をミスFLASH2022 セミファイナリストの青山泰菜が演じた。
